The story of GBC is exciting. When a few of us started to pray for our community in the summer of 1996, we couldn't imagine what God would do. We had nothing but a sense of the Lord's leading and doors started to open and prayers were answered.

You can see that for yourself as you browse this web site. In September 2000 we opened our own building. Who could have thought such a thing possible in 1996?

Yet it is God's work, not ours. "The Lord has done this and it is marvellous in our eyes."
(Psalm 118v23)

The strength of the church is our fellowship - our sense of belonging together in Jesus Christ. It is this which people notice when they come for the first time and which often draws them back again. We have a stated purpose as a church and we try to live by it: 

"Growing disciples of Jesus who love God and love people"
